Food Sovereignty Tours Scholarship Application

Food Sovereignty Tours offers scholarships of $50-$600 to individuals based on need, interest and available funds. Financial assistance is limited; therefore, applications are reviewed and awarded on a first come, first serve basis. In making our decision, we will consider the following factors: 1) Financial need 2) The type of work you plan to do when you return from your trip, and 3) Your level of community involvement and engagement in work related to food sovereignty issues. We strongly encourage young food activists, farmers and people of color to apply.

How to apply:

Applicants must complete the following form, and include a current resume and cover letter outlining interest and relevant experience (upload at the end of this form). Applicants must also submit one letter of recommendation from someone familiar with his/her work, community involvement and/or political engagement. Letter writers should email the recommendation to info@foodsovereigntytours.org with “Scholarship Recommendation” written in the subject line.
